DESCRIPTION:

Unisex Sterling Silver and Kingman Turquoise stone watch band with coplimentary time piece.

INFO:

This piece started with a sterling silver plate that was cut and polished. The sides have deep notch stamping and there are hand stamped sunray patterns on the final stage of the shank as it tapers to the end terminal.Within the silver plate twisted sterling rope lines the sides and 16 individual sterling bezels have been placed on top and individual cut and polished Kingman turquoise stones have been placed in each bezel. Dropped between each bezel are sterling silver raindrop beads. The center watch piece is held on by sterling clasps under the fanned arches. The entire piece is buffed and polished and ready to wear.

ARTISTS NAME:

This watchband is stamped "Sterling" as well as the initial "M" for Mellisa Yazzie. The Yazzie sisters as well as their extended large family of silversmith and other Native artists live in Gallup and the surrounding reservation.

SIZE:

This watchband measures from the inside 5 3/4 inches with a 1 inch gap. It will fit a size 6 3/4 to 7 size wrist.

The face of the center watch piece is the size of a penny and has a silver casing which surrounds the face and body.The watch movement features a white Mother of Pearl face, three silver tone hands and italicized numbers at each hour mark.
