DESCRIPTION
Sterling silver cross with hand stamped Native designs within the body of the frame. A center sterling jaw bezel holds a hand cut and polished Sleeping Beauty turquoise stone. This pendant is accompanied with a complimentary silver chain.

SLEEPING BEAUTY
Sleeping Beauty turquoise can be found in Gila County, Arizona. A heavy producer of copper ore, the Sleeping Beauty mine also produces remarkably uniform blue turquoise that is easily matched or cut in to sets and used in many styles of Indian jewelry.

ARTIST
Navajo silversmith Marie Thomas is an artist that loves design and variety. I have seen many pieces of silver art that she has produced ranging from handsome money clips to gorgeous bracelets. Her sleek designs and patterns always blend with her choice of stones. This small piece is no exception. Her hallmark and .925 are on the back.

This piece measure 1.60 inches top to bottom and 1 inch side to side. The stone measures 5.5mm thick, .25 inches top to bottom and .20 inches across. The complimentary silver chain measures 18 inches long.
