DESCRIPTION

This piece starts with a traditional silver money clip then a Zuni silversmith has added his special art work within a sterling silver bezel. He has set within the bezel traditional Native inlay work of hand cut and polished pieces of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise stones, red sea coral, Mother of Pearl and jet. pattern within the Mother of Pearl in the jet inlay within the Pearl.There are two clips available, one with a slightly different inlay pattern.

This clip is standard size as seen in the picture.

Zuni artists rarely stamp their pieces as stamps can be too expensive at times for many artists.. They are more well known for script writing with an engraver such as in this piece. The piece is scripted “FL. Zuni 09” on the back.
